Seasons Lost 04:39
Fertility rate's getting low, who's gonna care for us when we're old? If we live that long, who will lay us to rest? No one chooses their birth, for what my words are worth. Birth and death are one in the same. Never forget we're all somebody's baby. There's no way all the dreams died today. Glass shatters and it's fine. Epigenetics says it's 1939. It's 2020, our poor lizard brains, there's no end to the suffering go back to bed in pain. Waiting for someone to tell us to stop waiting for another. Then others become a struggle, other's just your brother! Dawning wishes fade to a sink full of dishes. There's no one left to call when you've burnt all your bridges. Seasons lost come back again. I don't want to die today, but I've gotta be ready to leave the Earth without saying my piece. The love that I have is enough, yes, yes it is. Seasons lost come back again.

In a year from now I'll need you even more than I need you today, somehow. I'll need you, I'll need you. When this subsides, I'll look you in the eye and say we survived, we survived. None of this shit is fair. I wanna stop you on the street, kiss the ground beneath is your feet. No one's running the races! I'll throw you inside where you're safest. I got an email from the local kombucha brewer saying that they are closing shop. They quoted Ecclesiastes trying to sell off their booch-- to everything there's a season. And that was when I knew the times had changed, gone and going is that hipster class. No more puppies, no more yuppies, maybe it's time to have a kid (children playing outside). I'll forget the glorious naked bike rides. Gone and going, cat calls taken in stride, the jean short cut offs riding up my behind. And that was when I knew the times had changed. None of this shit is fair. I'm afraid to survive this plague without you. In a year from now I'll need you even more than I need you today, somehow. I'll need you, I'll need you. You, me.
